Hello Everyone:

Well just thought I should give a update about our life. Cindy will be going to london tommorow for her 4th treament. This time her brother Ken is going to be taking her. I will be home with the girls and taking them to swimming lessons etc.......

It is hard to believe that tommorow marks the midway point of Cindy's treatment. We are glad that things have gone so well, and that from all accounts that the treatment seems to be working.

So please keep Cindy in your prayers tommorow as she will once again have to go through another round of treatment.

This past sunday I preached on "Facing the Storms of Life" I used the story recorded in Mark 6 about Jesus walking on the water and getting in the boat and calming the storm. In that story the disciples are scared and Mark says there hearts became hardened. There hearts became hardened cause they didn't recongnize Jesus, or even know that he was there....But the words of Jesus are the key....He says .....Take Courage! "I AM" Don't be afraid. I have had to learn this lesson over these last few months...Stephen Take courage..."I AM" Don't be afraid....

Whatever we face in life the comfort and hope that we have is that Jesus is there with us...And though he might not always calm the storms immediatley ...it is still wonderful to know that his power and his grace rests upon us....

I hope that in my life, and Cindy's life, and our girls life, and even in all of your lifes that when we face these terrible storms (whatever they are) that we still reconginize and see Jesus.

God bless you all....

Well it is Tuesday July 22 and we are halfway between treatments. Cindy is doing really well this week, her energy is back and she feels normal.

Last week she was tired and not feeling as well so the kids went to visit with Grandma Cris and grandpa Ben in kitchener for a few days. They had a lot of fun. It is so great to be able to have our parents close to us.

Other than that not much else is new in our life. I have been back to work for just over a week, and trying to get back into the swing of things. I am also looking forward to having a few more weeks off at the end of August. During that time we hope to do some more camping.

Like I mentinon Cindy is doing well, and for that we are thankful to God.

Thanks again for all your prayers and support, through you we see and experience the goodness of our God.

Hi Everyone:

Well it has been a very busy couple of weeks. Sorry that I have not written anything in the last little while.

The past couple of weeks I have been on vacation. The start of my vacation was very busy. Two weeks ago (Saturday June 28)we had the roof of our house reshingled. A number of people from our church came out to help. It was an amazing time. We started the roof at 7 am and because of all the help we were done the roof at 10:30 am. That was a total of 3 and 1/2 hours. It was really amazing. We want to thank all the people who helped. We especially want to thank Dave S and Hugh B for organizing the day.

Then on the same saturday I was shocked by a surprise 40th birthday party. Cindy and I were supposed to go out to diner at Hugh and Kim B house (so I thought). But instead they had all conspired to surprise me with a party. Well was I surprised. It was a great evening. Again thank-you Kim and Hugh and all those who planned the evening. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful loving people in our lives.

Well the remainder of our vacation was spent camping and visiting with family and friends.

As a family we are doing well. Cindy had her third treatment this past Thursday and besides being a little tired she is doing well. The doctor again was very pleased with the way the tumours are responding to the treatment. They seem to be getting softer which is what is supposed to happen. So praise God for this. Now there are only 5 more treatments left.

Thank-you everyone for all your prayers and support. God is shining in our lives through each one of you.

Have a great day
